Alberta Heart

Alberta Heart is a student project group at the University of Alberta aimed at researching, designing, and prototyping a Total Artificial Heart (TAH) and competing in the Annual Heart Hackathon, the world’s first student competition for total artificial heart design.
At the 2025 edition of the Heart Hackathon Competition, Alberta Heart was the only Canadian competing in the finals.
