We are Europe's leader for processing and marketing crayfish – known as crawfish in the USA. We focus on sustainably wild-caught freshwater crayfish, primarily of the Procambarus clarkii species, sourced using traditional methods in their natural environment. Our production center near Seville in Southern Spain has a capacity of over 2,000 tons and is equipped with modern technology. We also cooperate with Chinese processors and produce in our Egyptian plant to meet customer demand. Our dedicated team's mission is to share the tastiness of crayfish with the world, while fostering sustainable fishing and a circular economy, and creating a great working environment that promotes personal growth, empowers youth, embraces diversity, and champions gender equality. ALFOCAN exports most of its crayfish to Europe (amongst other to France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, the UK) and the USA, and are constantly exploring new territories.
