Algoma Workforce Investment Corporation (AWIC)

Established in 2006, AWIC is a non-profit Workforce Planning Board consisting of volunteers who are knowledgeable in matters related to labour force development in the District of Algoma. Its main objective is to undertake local research and planning initiatives that pertain to the Algoma labour market. AWIC strives to foster cooperative community efforts through this process, with the ultimate aim of finding local solutions to address labour market challenges in the area.
