About Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA)

Founded in 2010, the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA) is an international members-based NGO focused on supporting experts, decision makers, and institutions within the water community to work together to find solutions for resilient water resources management. AGWA’s vision is for effective climate change adaptation and mitigation practices to be mainstreamed and enabled within water resources management decision-making processes, policies, and implementation. Our work includes both technical and policy programs. Through direct engagement with our 1800+ members, AGWA enables hundreds of institutions and thousands of individuals globally to align their vision, co-construct tools to enable resilience, and intertwine emerging technical knowledge, finance instruments, and policy processes into synthetic, integrated tools and methodologies.
