APEARE is a nonprofit advancing inclusive climate resilience across Nigeria. We champion community-led reforestation, agroforestry innovation, and environmental education that empower women, youth, and smallholder farmers to become stewards of their land. From afforestation in arid zones to digital storytelling and volunteer mobilization, our work connects local action to global sustainability goals. Through initiatives such as Promoting Agricultural Resilience through Agroforestry and Ecological Systems (Supported by UNDP GEF-SGP Nigeria), Project AMMINA (Afforestation & Mapping for Mitigation of Impacts of Northern Aridity), and I-ASIST 2030 (Implementing Actions for Six Impactful SDGs Transition), we’re redefining how restoration, equity, and prosperity intersect.
