About Allianz Darta Saving
Allianz Darta Saving, the trade name of Darta Saving Life Assurance dac, is a life insurance company incorporated under Irish law, headquartered in Dublin and established in March 2003. It is authorized to operate in the Italian market under the “Freedom to Provide Services” regime and acts as a tax withholding agent. Darta is wholly owned by Allianz S.p.A.
Sophisticated technical expertise and deep market knowledge are the cornerstones on which Darta builds its business. The company operates within a strong customer-oriented culture, which has enabled it to develop a first-class post-sales support system.
In addition, Darta complies with the regulation introducing stamp duty on all Italian financial assets. This means that, for Darta’s clients, there is no difference compared to an Italian insurance company, since its policies are subject to the same stamp duty as Italian policies, and clients are exempt from declaring and paying taxes on assets held abroad.
The company was authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland (formerly the Financial Regulator) to carry out insurance business on 23 March 2003 and is registered with the C.R.O. under number 365015.
