As the peak industry body for Australian almonds, the ABA facilitates further growth of the industry, seeks to maximise its profitability and ensure its sustainability, by providing a platform for industry members to collectively respond to industry wide issues, invest in research and marketing, share knowledge, and interact with government bodies and other stakeholders.

One of the key roles of the ABA is to facilitate research and development in production, marketing and nutritional science. As the consumer market grows and demand increases the ABA are further developing their approach and finding diverse and unique ways to connect and educate with communities, both within Australia and internationally.
