Cindy and Alan Akins started a printing/publishing company in 1990 called Kulla Publishing, Inc. to specifically publish The Real Estate Guide – Southern Crescent which covered Henry, Clayton, Fayette, Coweta and South Fulton Counties in Georgia. After two years they had grown the two publications to the point where they had more pages than the three or four competing companies. At this point they purchased their first large format printer and added signs and trade show graphics to their mix. Over the next eight years the printing and sign business continued to grow. The real estate publishing business was sold as general printing and sign printing took up more time and resources. The team bounced around locations and continued to grow until it reached a point that AlphaGraphics, Inc. was interested in having the team come on board as a franchisee in 2012. Along the way, the franchise acquired and joined forces with Georgia Litho, Printing on Demand, Eagles Wings Engraving and PM Productions to combine diverse skill sets, dedicated customers and devoted team members to develop a company that provides many printing, sign, graphic design and promotional product needs for companies in Gwinnett County as well as all over the world.
