About Association of Municipal Administrators Nova Scotia (AMANS)
The Association of Municipal Administrators, Nova Scotia (AMANS) is a professional non-profit organization with over 330 members drawn from Nova Scotia municipalities, towns, and villages, the Government of Nova Scotia and other local government professionals.
AMANS is governed by the Board of Directors which comprises 4 Executive Officers, 10 Regional Directors, and 1 Representative from the Board of the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities
AMANS membership includes CAOs, Clerks, Deputies, Directors, and other administrative positions within local government. Membership is open to professionals involved in the administration of local government in Nova Scotia.
It is the mission of AMANS to be a professional, non-partisan association dedicated to excellence in municipal administration.
