Overview

About American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Bahrain)

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Bahrain is a leading member-driven and non-profit business association that acts as a bridge to connect businesses. AmCham Bahrain plays a vital role in promoting bilateral trade, supporting the growth of American companies in Bahrain, and contributing to the economic development of both countries while strengthening the overall U.S.-Bahrain relationship.

AmCham Bahrain was established in 2004, soon after the signing of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Bahrain and the United States, making Bahrain the first country in the GCC to enter into such an agreement.

AmCham Bahrain proudly represents American Fortune 500 Companies and SMEs, Bahraini organizations, and individual business leaders from diverse sectors. It provides a range of services and resources to its members, including networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities, advocacy, business development support, access to information, and trade missions and delegations.

AmCham Bahrain annually holds various networking events, including Monthly Luncheons, Business Meetings, Delegation Gatherings, Committee Meetings, Gala Dinners, General Assemblies, Business Tours, U.S. Alumni Receptions, Panel Discussions, and Workshops.

AmCham Bahrain is a part of the global network of American Chambers of Commerce in the world. The U.S. Embassy, the Economic Development Board (EDB), and Government entities across Bahrain also serve as key partners.
