The American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) is a non-profit organization made up of nearly 2,500 Dominican and American companies that seeks to empower its members to develop their full potential based on three pillars - the economic, professional and social - through facilitating access to knowledge, opportunities, a culture of best practices, respect for the rule of law and corporate social responsibility.

AMCHAMDR is the only institution of its kind with a true national presence through its 10 offices throughout the country: Santo Domingo, Santiago, Moca, San Francisco, La Vega, Puerto Plata, San Pedro, La Romana, Higuey and Baní .
