About Amendobras Importação e Exportação de Amendoim

Although Brazil has a long tradition of peanut farming, until relatively recently, production was mainly focused on domestic consumption, with very little exported.

Amendobras was founded in 2008 as the first processing facility in Brazil capable of removing the skin from raw peanuts (blanching), aiming to minimize aflatoxin levels and provide peanuts that meet high international standards, especially for the European Union.

In 2013, the company added a roasting oven and a chopping line, followed by a peanut butter production line in 2015. A peanut flour line was introduced in 2016, and in 2019, a peanut extract and essence line was implemented — making Amendobras the most versatile peanut processing facility in the world.
