American Society for Apheresis

ASFA is an organization of physicians, scientists, and allied health professionals whose mission is to advance apheresis medicine for patients, donors and practitioners through education, evidence-based practice, research and advocacy.

ASFA represents a broad range of professionals involved in: donor apheresis, apheresis in transplantation, and therapeutic apheresis.

Mission: To advance apheresis medicine for patients, donors and practitioners through education, evidence-based practice, research and advocacy.

Vision: To be the leader in apheresis medicine.

Strategic Priorities:
-Promote the Qualification in Apheresis (QIA).
-Increase research infrastructure and activity.
-Position ASFA as the expert resource on apheresis to policy makers.
-Increase international engagement and collaboration.
