The American Corner (previously known as United States Information Services) has been a hub for culture, information and dialogue over decades, promoting understanding between the people of Sri Lanka and the United States of America.
Equipped with computers, WiFi, audiovisual products, modern technology, as well as books and periodicals, American Corner Kandy partners with American and local organizations to host innovative programs such as English and entrepreneurship training courses, cultural performances, interactive panel discussions, film screenings, workshops, exhibits and virtual conference programs.
This is a space funded and administered by the US Embassy, Colombo, functioning as a resource center to the general public and more specifically for the youth.
