American Polar Society

Since 1934, the American Polar Society, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has united people and institutions from around the globe and pole to pole to further knowledge, understanding, appreciation, and celebration of the Arctic and Antarctic land, oceans, and ice. The American Polar Society welcomes individual and corporate members. Its membership includes current, former, and future scientists, policy makers and diplomats, teachers, artists and writers, indigenous populations, tourists, manufacturers of gear and equipment, animal lovers, and anyone else interested in the two polar regions.
