The purpose of the department, including ‘Fashion Design’, 'Fashion Communication', & 'Fashion Technology' is to tell the students about the fundamentals of Fashion Courses. Fashion courses as a profession includes the entire process of designing and producing fashion apparels from the fiber and yarn stage to the finished product. This course will give an overview of fashion design, communication & technology and elaborate on different aspects like Elements of design, History of fashion, Pattern making, Garment construction, Fashion Journalism, Portfolio Design, Draping, Styling, Graphics design, Fashion Illustration, Visual Merchandising & many more. Fashion is a big business and key driver for several industries.
