About Amsterdam Public Health
Amsterdam Public Health is a collaboration between Amsterdam UMC, VU Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam.
The Amsterdam Public Health research institute stimulates state-of-the-art research that contributes to the ever growing health potential of individuals and communities across the life course. The institute concentrates its research efforts in eight research programs in which 1,900+ researchers from multidisciplinary disciplines are brought together.
We consider strong ties between research, practice, and education as crucial conditions for an effective translation of public health research to the society. With our partners inside and outside of the academic world we stimulate state-of-the-art research that contributes to the ever growing health potential of individuals and communities throughout life. This is embedded within our mission: Public Health: health for all, now and in the future.
