About Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation
Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) Helping Blood Disorder Program is an NGO dedicated to supporting patients suffering from Thalassemia & Blood Disorders since 2003. Led by Dr. Asim Qidwai, the founder & CEO. Our program operates without a cash counter, ensuring our focus remains solely on serving those in need.
Over the years, AMTF has been honored with numerous awards, including the IATC-2016, CSR Award 2017, SATHA Award 2018, IFA-Cambridge Child Welfare Award UK-2019, and the K-Electric Award 2021 for Public Service, among others.
Our services extend beyond medical treatment. We provide free ICU, HDU, and in-patient services to the Thalassemia center in Karachi, ensuring that patients receive the care they need without financial burden. Additionally, we have established a Community Lab, offering cost-effective solutions while reinvesting all generated funds back into our programs to ensure sustainability.
