Andiata - Sustainable fashion from the Nordics Finnish design house Andiata is rooted in Helsinki Finland, where the brand was founded in 1986 by Tarja Rantanen, who still operates as the head designer and CEO of the brand. Andiata is known for its impeccable tailoring and attention to detail, mixing Scandinavian minimalism with Parisian femininity. As a completely female driven company, Andiata aims to contribute to the female workforce and support women in leadership positions. Our core mission is to produce long-lasting fashion for a sustainable future, creating durable women’s clothing that fits different times and ages. During the years Andiata has received the most prestigious awards in the Finnish fashion industry: the Gloria Fashion Award in 1998 and the Golden Hanger by the Finnish Fair Corporation in 2002. In 2011 the company’s founder, Tarja Rantanen, was awarded with the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award. Andiata has also been granted the Strongest in Finland Platinum Award 2007-2017 with an AAA-credit rating.
