The Angelicoussis Group is a privately owned group of affiliated shipping companies dating back to 1947.

The Group operates a modern, diversified fleet serving the oil, gas and dry cargo markets through Athens-based companies, Maran Tankers Management (MTM), Maran Gas Maritime (MGM) and Maran Dry Management (MDM), and Maran Shuttle Tankers (MST), based in Stavanger, Norway.

Founded by Antonis I. Angelicoussis, the Group has a long-standing family legacy providing best-in-class shipping services, operational excellence and industry-leading safety performance, and a company culture focused on the well-being, inclusivity and development of its people.

Today, with 8,500-plus employees across the globe, 162 vessels on the water and 22 vessels on order, the Angelicoussis Group is one of the world’s largest privately owned shipping groups.
