About Anglo-Ecuadorian Society
Founded in 1977 the Anglo-Ecuadorian Society is a non-political community organisation that aims to:
- Promote close and friendly relations between Ecuador and the United Kingdom.
- Advance British people’s knowledge of the culture and history of Ecuador and its intellectual, artistic, political, commercial, and economic life.
- Undertake charitable activities for benefit of people in Ecuador – especially children and families in need or distress.
To do this the Society promotes exhibitions, meetings, conferences, lectures, and other activities.
We also aim to serve as a contact in the U.K. for anyone interested or with connections in both countries and to provide information, links and opportunities to network.
Honorary President: HE Ambassador of Ecuador in the UK.
Honorary Vice-President: Baroness Hooper.
Co-Chairs: Juan Terán Jurado & Juan Carlos Yépez.
