Welcome to our page! Here, we share updates related to animal breeding and genomics research, as well as exciting activities on innovation, collaboration, outreach and education. Through our research we aim to improve the health, welfare and productivity of animals. The Animal Breeding and Genomics group contributes to the quality of life by providing knowledge to support the adequate supply of safe and healthy food of animal origin.

Our group is part of the Department of Animal Sciences of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and participates in the Wageningen Institute of Animal Sciences (WIAS).
