About ASD Global
ASD (Animiki See Distribution) is an international distributor based in Canada. ASD works exclusively with majority-owned and produced Indigenous content, and with Indigenous creatives to develop, market and distribute programs within Canada and to the global broadcast market. ASD has a catalogue of 400+ hours of scripted and unscripted programs, including feature films, documentaries and series of factual entertainment, current affairs, kids, animation, lifestyle, comedy and drama.
ASD licenses programs to mainstream and Indigenous broadcasters, streamers and VOD platforms in Canada and worldwide. ASD also distributes to educational, in-flight and non-theatrical media globally. ASD attends domestic and international markets and festivals including All Access, Realscreen, MIPTV, HotDocs, Banff, Indigenous Film Summit, ImagineNative, MIPCOM, ATF and WCSFP.
In addition to finished program sales, ASD works on original content, select early-stage development projects, pre-sales and co-productions.
ASD is a CAVCO approved and Canada Media Fund (CMF) recognized Eligible Distributor.
ASD is a proud part of the Dadan Sivunivut group of Indigenous media corporations, devoted to the promotion of Indigenous television and film productions, radio, musical talent and cultural activities in Canada.
