About Antisink AS
Antisink is a Norwegian technology company dedicated to preventing one of the most serious emergencies at sea: sinking.
We develop advanced buoyancy systems for leisure boats, workboats, emergency services, and professional operators across the defence, maritime and offshore sectors – solutions built to keep vessels afloat even after critical damage.
Our systems are engineered to prevent sinking, not just respond to it. By stabilizing or fully lifting vessels after impact, grounding, flooding or structural failure, we increase the chances of survival, reduce environmental harm, and enable faster, safer rescue operations.
The idea originated after a series of tragic accidents along the southern coast of Norway in the early 1990s. In 2017, founder Geir E. Karlsen established Antisink to create a new standard for maritime safety. Since then, we have developed robust, reusable, and sustainable systems now used by rescue services, defence units, and professional operators in several countries.
Proudly Norwegian-made, Antisink is driven by innovation, engineering quality, and the vision of zero lives lost at sea.
