APDPO PORTUGAL is the association of Data Protection Professionals, including DPOs - Data Protection Officers. Created with the aim of providing dialogue and the exchange of experiences, APDPO organizes training sessions, promotes forums and fosters synergies with public and private sector entities in favor of the quality of the professionals it aggregates.
On the other hand, APDPO, in an innovative way, pursues the objectives of promoting and developing good practices regarding data protection, providing and preparing professionals for the performance of the various activities necessary for the implementation of safe practices in the scope of data protection.
Data protection professionals carry out a herculean mission on a daily basis: guaranteeing privacy and reinforcing data protection as the fundamental rights of individuals and accelerating digital transformation and the promotion of innovation. It is to assist in this mission that APDPO endeavors, guiding the associative activity towards this aim.
