18 November 1954: The first A+A opened its doors on the topic of occupational safety – with 74 exhibitors on around 1,700 sqm, accompanied by the A+A Congress with 2,000 occupational safety experts. And in the meantime: more than 2,100 exhibitors from over 60 nations and more than 73,000 trade visitors. From one of the first events of Messe Düsseldorf to the number 1 in its sector!
