About Arabian Chemical Terminals Abu Dhabi (ACTAD)
ACTAD is part of ACT Terminals KSA with facilities in Yambu and Jubail. Signed for the development of greenfield terminal facilities in Khalifa Port. As of now there is no commercial tank terminal in Abu Dhabi. The new terminal offer import and export tanks for liquids in Khalifa Port Logistics to serve KEZAD, UAE and Break Bulk Hub for the Region, closely located Jebel Ali and Ruwais regions.
The project’s First Phase include 40 Fixed Roof Tanks; 20 Carbon Steel (10 of them with IFR) and 20 Stainless Steel (10 of them insulated with heating/cooling system). Each Tank has a nominal capacity of 2,800 CBM, N2 Blanketing System, Blending System and dedicated Jetty pipeline and Truck Loading Station. All tanks, Jetty and Truck loading stations are fully commissioned in operation since beginning of 2024 year.
The terminal’s second phase will potentially commence following expansion of the surrounding area and will consist of a number of larger industrial storage tanks and spheres with piped connections to Khalifa’s Port hinterland KIZAD industrials , providing customers a wide range of opportunities in alternative energy liquid bulk products and gases such as Hydrogen and Bio Fuels, aside conventional Chemicals, Gases and Oils.
