Acupuncture Regulatory Authority

ARA is the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority which is a professional body set up to provide a single self-regulating organisation for the profession bringing together ALL who practice acupuncture.

The federation includes groups that represent both Western medical and other traditional styles of acupuncture practice, so enabling the public to make an informed choice as to the most appropriate type of treatment .

The federation provides a united voice for acupuncture practitioners of varied methodologies of practice. The British Acupuncture Federation supports the choice of the public to be able to access the use of acupuncture by highly trained practitioners working in both the statutory and independent sectors.
