About ARCO - Action Research for Co-Development
ARCO is university centre for research, consulting and training specialized in locale development, social economy, inclusive development, M&E, impact evaluation and sustainable food commodities. From its foundation in 2008, ARCO has worked over 280 projects with 130 different clients in 33 countries all over the world.
ARCO relies on the expertise of economists, statisticians, political scientists and commodity scientists who all collaborate with interdisciplinary attitude both on development cooperation projects and on the organization of advanced trainings, such as workshops, summer schools, conferences and Master's Degrees, in local development, inclusive development, social economy, M&E, impact evaluation , circular economy and sustainable food commodities.
ARCO's team also has a solid an constant academic activity supervised by the Scientific Committee composed of Professors from School for Economics and Business and School of Statistics of the University of Florence.
ARCO centre also support the Yunus Social Business Centre at the University of Florence, the first centre accredited by the Yunus Centre in Dhaka.
ARCO is located inside the PIN – S.c.r.l. in Prato, Italy.
