About ARCP CoLAB - Rede de Competência em Polímeros
ARCP CoLAB was founded in February 2007 with the aim of promoting collaboration between universities and industry in the field of polymer innovation. The recognised difficulty stems from the fact that universities and industry are different worlds with their own language and seemingly different objectives. To overcome these difficulties, a common goal was created:
Research to innovate, and create to produce.
By combining the skills of our members, ARCP CoLAB's activity enables cutting-edge developments not only in the creation and optimisation of new products/processes, but also in more fundamental research.
Thus, ARCP stands as an engine of innovation: a common workspace where members, academics and industrialists develop research and development (R&D) projects in a coordinated and interactive manner. We are a Centre of Excellence in polymer science and technology with the main objective of promoting innovation and increasing competitiveness.
