About Arctic Lakeland Finland
Arctic Lakeland is the northernmost part of Lakeland Finland. A guest arriving in Arctic Lakeland will get to experience both the southern and northern landscapes of Finland – large lakes and rocky hillsides can be seen during one trip.
Arctic Lakeland has the perfect harmony of nature, culture and sports. The surroundings provide a wonderful setting for a varied list of activities. Fishing, hiking, kayaking and cycling are popular in the summer months and dog sledding, reindeer farm visits, cross country skiing and downhill skiing in the winter. There are some of the best surroundings for animal observation and photography in the area. Whilst deep in the forests, guests can get close up to and photograph bears, wolves, wolverine and birds in their natural habitat.
