Ark Energy is an Australian company specialising in the greenfield development and operation of utility-scale wind and solar energy generation, battery energy storage systems and renewable hydrogen. It is a subsidiary of Korea Zinc, the largest zinc, lead and silver producer in the world.
Ark Energy is focused on decarbonising the electricity supply of the Korea Zinc group starting with the Sun Metals zinc refinery in Townsville as it aims to become the first refinery in the world to produce green zinc.
