Armacell is the global leader in innovative eco-friendly PET foam solutions for the composite industry. Our diverse product portfolio of environmentally friendly solutions with lowest ecological footprints is used in composite sandwich structures for the B&C, transportation, marine and wind turbine markets. All our PET foams are made by Armacell’s unique and patented r-PET technology: made from 100% recycled PET (recycled beverage bottles). Armacell converts single-use plastic bottles into a high-quality resource and feeds it back into the production cycle. After the conversion from bottle to foam, you find our products in a variety of applications, such as 90-metre-long wind turbine blades, the body structure of high-speed trains, surfboards, or even the 24-karat gilded roof of an Orthodox cathedral in Paris. This year we will have consumed the landmark of 4,500,000,000 recycled PET bottles in our PET foams production.
