ar-mel (action research, monitoring evaluation and learning) is a community of African, multidisciplinary practitioners committed to creativity, methodological rigor, and social innovation in development and humanitarian contexts. Our network has successfully completed more than thirty (30) development program evaluations, across West and Central Africa, including several Sahelian environments requiring culturally grounded, conflict sensitive, and gender responsive approaches. Our expertise covers participatory evaluation of Resilience, DRR, WASH, Climate Change, Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion programs. We have extensive experience designing and implementing evaluations for multi country programs that require advanced coordination, harmonized tools, complex field logistics, context sensitive data collection, and bilingual (French/English) reporting.
