The Principal Cyber Advisor (PCA) serves as the Secretary of the Army and Army Chief of Staff’s principal advisor on all cyber matters and is responsible for implementing the Department of Defense Cyber Strategy within the Army. This critical role encompasses oversight of the Army cyber budget, ensuring effective recruitment, resourcing, and readiness of cyber forces. The PCA also leads efforts in the acquisition of cutting-edge cyber tools and capabilities, cultivates a robust cyber warfighting culture, manages cybersecurity supply chain risk, and safeguards the security of both information and weapon systems.
