Artemis Leros Boatyard LTD

The Karpathakis family owners of the Boatyard, is one of the traditional shipping families of Dodecanese. We have been operating for many years with small wooden cargo boats before commercializing and continue today with more modern steel cargo ships. As a family, we are ship owners and Mr. Mikes Karpathakis is working in our cargo ship as Master & Chief Engineer, Nikos Karpathakis, his son is working as Master and Eygenios Karpathakis as Chief Officer. The creation of the Boatyard was a dream of the father, Nicholas Karpathakis, who was a captain and wanted to create a boatyard in Leros since 1965, since the first sailing boats arrived in the island for pleasure. Now the next Karpathakis generation made his dream come true, by creating the Artemis Leros Boatyard.
