About ASET International Energy Training Academy
ASET International Energy Training Academy delivers specialist, hands-on technical training for the global energy sector.
Based in Aberdeen and operating across the UK and internationally, we provide accredited programmes in high-voltage and low-voltage electrical engineering, hazardous area CompEx, process operations, marine operations, emergency response and renewable energy technologies.
Our purpose-built facilities replicate real industrial environments — from live high-voltage systems and integrated switchgear to fully operational process platforms — allowing delegates to develop practical skills in a safe, controlled setting. Training is delivered by experienced industry professionals who understand the operational realities our clients face.
We work in partnership with employers across energy, renewables, utilities, marine and offshore industries to design and deliver training that is rigorous, relevant and directly transferable to the workplace.
ASET is part of North East Scotland College (NESCol), combining industry-led technical training expertise with the strength, governance and educational excellence of one of Scotland’s largest colleges.
By blending immersive, real-world learning with flexible delivery and close collaboration with industry, we develop confident, capable professionals ready to operate safely and effectively in high-risk, high-value environments.
