About ASFAT (Military Factory and Shipyard Management Inc.)
As a wholly state-owned entity, ASFAT was established on 12 January 2018 and operates under the administration of the Ministry of National Defence (MoND), with the Deputy Minister of National Defence as its Chairman of the Board.
ASFAT is authorized to market and conduct business with allied countries to share the excess capacity, products and services generated by 27 Military Factories and 10 Naval Shipyards, which are state-owned and operate under the MoND. These military factories and naval shipyards have more than 30 years of experience in production, maintenance, repair and modernization. ASFAT has the flexibility to work as a project management center and integrator in the provision of products, solutions and services of military factories and shipyards as well as products of Turkish Defense Industry companies.
