About ASME UET Taxila Chapter
ASME UET Taxila Chapter is one of the eldest, proficient and leading technical society of UET Taxila, grooming and polishing the technical abilities of the university students. In this regard, ASME UETT conducts many Technical Workshops, Industrial Tours, Toastmaster Sessions, Seminars, Conferences and many more things.
By realizing the Third Mission of being a University society, ASME UETT initiated the "Community Services Week". We went to different Government schools for promoting the STEM disciplines and to make the coming generation technically more familiar.
We initiate the four technical domains in which five projects are running. The sole purpose of these projects is to make the students of UET technically strong so that they can compete in the market in an effective way. Following are the four domains:
- Automotive
- Power Generation
- Robotics
- Bio-Engineering
Besides making our students technically strong, we are also working on their communication skills by improving our Toastmaster Sessions with the passage of time.
