Asociacion Chelonia

The Asociacion Chelonia is an international non-profit organization dedicated to carrying out scientific research and the conservation of threatened species and ecosystems, as well as the implementation of projects of volunteering and international cooperation. All this to contribute to a more sustainable human development in collaboration with the local communities, the preservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services, the deceleration of the climate change and the circular economy. Our team is made up of professionals and specialists of various areas od the natural, environmental and social sciences, with extensive experience in the search for greater sustainability in the management of natural resources and in the coordination of projects focused on conservation and a balanced development, harmonizing economic, social, cultural, technological and environmental aspects. We have staff and volunteers of the regions where our projects are carried out, involving local communities in training and awareness programs, as well as in our projects of conservation, sustainability and circular economy, research and promotion of a balanced development.
