About Aspar Team
The Team story begins in 1992. Jorge MartÃnez ‘Aspar’, a born fighter and an insatiable winner had claimed in the late 1980s four world titles, writing his name indelibly on the history of Spanish and international motorcycle racing.
Tenacious like few others, he knew that his career as a racer was a short one and in 1992 he decided to form his own team. After finally hanging up his leathers in 1997, his journey from circuit to circuit continued as kept to build the legend of the Aspar Team. Grand Prix victories and team and rider world titles converted the Aspar Team into a point of reference in the World Championship.
