Assens Fjernvarme

Assens Fjernvarme is a Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP) optimized with a big scale heatpump. The yearly production consist of 100.000 MWh district heating and 30.000 MWh electricity.
The production is based on sustainable energy-sources as wind, sun and biomass (wood chips).
The company was founded in 1961.
