About Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE)

The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives is a membership organisation established in 2011 to provide UK NHS ambulance services with an organisation that can support them in the implementation of nationally agreed policies.

Where appropriate at a national level, AACE supports its members by acting as an interface between them and their key stakeholders.

AACE’s activity can be grouped under three functional areas.

- To connect, co-ordinate and facilitate
- To produce, deliver and commission bespoke pieces of work on the UK NHS ambulance sector’s behalf
- To advocate, influence, engage and communicate

Additionally, AACE also undertakes carefully chosen consultancy activities designed to help improve ambulance services in general, both at home and abroad - see https://odqi.aace.org.uk/

As the UK’s representative body for public sector ambulance services, AACE is ideally placed – with all of the right contacts and expertise – to help facilitate the sharing of best practice and the provision of high-level advice and guidance to any organisation involved in the delivery of urgent or emergency healthcare.

AACE works with a range of clients within the UK and from abroad, especially those involved in pre-hospital care via an ambulance service that is set up to deliver care to high volumes of people via a public sector service.
