About Association of Language Schools of the Czech Republic
Association of Language Schools of the Czech Republic (AJS) is a professional organization of language schools, whose main goal is to promote high-quality language education.
The Association was established in 2015 through the merger of two professional associations: ACERT – the Association of Certified Language Schools, and AJŠA – the Association of Language Schools and Agencies of the Czech Republic.
By joining the Association, member schools commit themselves to upholding the fundamental principles of quality foreign language teaching. Among other things, the purpose of AJS is to bring an ethical dimension into the business environment of language services. The Code of Ethics obliges members to act responsibly and morally towards clients, colleagues, and other business entities.
Association of Language Schools is an associate member of EAQUALS, an international association of institutions and organizations engaged in language education. Its aim is to promote and guarantee high quality in language teaching and learning.
Association of Language Schools is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and is an authorized body of the Czech Chamber of Commerce in the field of education in language schools.
