Association of Welding Products Manufacturers

Association of Welding Product Manufacturers (AWPM) was established in 2005 with focused multi-pronged objectives. Principal among them were to raise the bar of Indian Welding Industry by developing stature of pride and recognition through thought leadership, initiatives & activities, to organize efforts with industry bodies, government, educational & research institutes to deliver value benefits to the welding product manufacturers and, to support the entire Indian Welding Network by all necessary and possible means.

AWPM is a member of CII-ASCON, and actively coordinates with it for the technological and business growth of Indian Welding Industry. The association has made several representation to relevant ministries in order to bring about policy changes.

AWPM supports welding technologists by sponsoring scholarships for higher education / to achieve specialization in welding technologies. The association also regularly invests in activities for the safety and health of the welders and people working in welding and fabrication area of industry.
