About Asyaport Liman A.Ş.
Asyaport, located in Tekirdağ on the Marmara Sea, is one of Türkiye’s most strategically positioned and high-capacity container terminals and stands as the country’s biggest container port in terms of work volume and an important transit hub in the region. As a joint venture between Terminal Investment Limited (TiL) and the Soyuer family, the port serves as a major gateway for international maritime trade and a critical hub for global transit operations. Our long-standing relationship with MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, strengthened by both strategic collaboration and family ties, further reinforces Asyaport’s role within worldwide shipping networks and supports its continued growth in global logistics.
With deep-water berths, modern quay infrastructure and the ability to accommodate the world’s largest container vessels, Asyaport plays a central role in regional and intercontinental supply chains. The terminal continues to expand its capabilities through ongoing investments in infrastructure, advanced handling equipment and digital transformation initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, resilience and service quality.
A defining pillar of Asyaport’s identity is its strong commitment to environmental responsibility. Asyaport is the first port in Türkiye to implement an Onshore Power Supply (OPS) system, allowing vessels to shut down diesel generators at berth, and one of the first in Europe to deploy a fleet of natural gas-powered terminal trucks. Extensive solar energy systems further support the terminal’s low-carbon operational model.
Through continuous innovation, strong stakeholder partnerships and a long-term sustainability vision, Asyaport aims to set a global benchmark for responsible port management. The terminal is driven by a clear vision: to serve as a resilient, high-efficiency logistics hub that strengthens global trade flows while advancing a cleaner and more sustainable maritime future.
