Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland

Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy Ireland (ARTI) is a professional organisation responsible for the promotion, regulation, and continued education of Athletic and Rehabilitation Therapists. Affiliated with the World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy (WFATT). ARTI is dedicated to ensuring that all Certified Athletic and Rehabilitation Therapists provide the highest quality of healthcare to all patients and athletes. This is achieved by reinforcing the emphasis on evidence-based practice through mandatory continued professional development (CPD) and through the maintenance of emergency care certification. Given the wide variety of allied health professions involved in the field of sports medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, and rehabilitation it is important that Certified Athletic Therapists (CATs) can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and ARTI hopes to work closely with the representative bodies of these professions to further communication and knowledge in the field of sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine.
