About ATMEC - Aow Thai Marine Ecology Center

The Aow Thai Marine Ecology Center (ATMEC) is an education and research-focused organisation active in the Gulf of Thailand. It is the result of a collaboration between academics, educators and conservationists with decades of experience between them, aiming to bring the world of marine science to a wider audience. ATMEC is a project under the Love Wildlife Foundation, with the main field station based at the island of Koh Mun Nai, Rayong, in partnership with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources of Thailand. We are open to students of all ages and currently offer comprehensive courses and research opportunities in a variety of marine biological and ecological topics. ATMEC also offers certifications in various courses offered by Conservation Diver, representing the forefront in SCUBA conservation standards.
