ATRON develops software and hardware solutions for local public transport in the European market. The entire ATRON Group analyzes and optimizes its customers' business processes in several locations of ATRON and successfully implements them in solutions. If necessary, existing systems are also integrated and all components are combined to form integrated overall solutions. ATRON relies on open interfaces and not on proprietary systems. In the area of local public transport this increases both the efficiency of public transport companies and the comfort for passengers. So with smart transport solutions, more and more people can be transported climate-friendly from door to door.

A changing society always presents us with new tasks. In 1980, ATRON worked significantly on converting mechanical devices to innovative electrical solutions in local public transport. The aim was to collect the data where it was generated. In addition to the core business in public transport, ATRON is currently designing innovative future solutions in the area of smart cities / smart regions. Here we are also always faced with new tasks and challenges in which we constantly set new standards.

The ATRON Group is represented throughout Europe with locations in Germany (Markt Schwaben, Feldkirchen, Berlin, Fulda), Croatia (Zagreb), Switzerland (Bronschhofen) and Sweden (Linköping).
