About Attachment Matters, LLC
Attachment Matters, LLC: Relational Intelligence
Empowering schools, families, and communities through the science of connection. Grounded in 70 years of attachment research, we provide the framework for what CASEL leadership calls "durable human skills"—the foundation for 2030 workplace readiness (including creativity, resiliency, and empathy):
Self-Awareness & Self-Management
Responsible Decision-Making
Relationship Skills & Social Awareness
Our Proven Impact
Attachment learning is the key to transforming relationships, yet the majority of adults caring for children are completely unaware of it. We partner with families, childcare, and Preschool–Adult schools to bridge this gap. Our partners/sites include:
Regional Office of Ed 47 (IL) | Los Gatos USD
Berkeley High | Sobrato High | Ross Middle * School of Eng & Sciences | Highlands Community Charter
We are currently conducting a large-scale pilot evaluation in SoCal, bringing relational intelligence to 200 students as part of a formal impact study.
While participants often begin unaware of how attachment impacts development, they walk away with a profound realization of its importance. They report newfound clarity and an immediate desire to apply these insights to all future interactions with children.
